History

The company PPO (Plüss and Petersen Olten) has been founded in 1976 by Robert Plüss and Jan Petersen. However, the milestone for the foundation had already been laid in 1946 by Robert Plüss’s father, Traugott Plüss. At that time, the company’s purpose was the importation of fruits and vegetables from Italy. Three generations later, PPO Services AG had increased its number of import countries to 25. Moreover, it disposes of a worldwide net of producers. The company has more than 70 years of experience in trading with fruits and vegetables.
